Why Commission a Painting?
In our culture, ugliness abounds. Churches and buildings that were once designed with care and reverence are now gray, uninspiring prisons. Modern art displays are often confusing, cynical, and creepy. Pornography distorts the beauty of human bodies into things that can be consumed, used, and tossed aside at will.
Subtle though it may be, the lack of beauty in our lives is leaving people wounded, cynical, and depressed.
I truly believe that Jesus is on a mission to heal hearts through beauty.
You could purchase an art print or attempt painting yourself. In fact, I am a huge believer in everyone engaging in their God-given creative abilities.
But there’s something beautiful that happens when we open our hearts to a member of Christ’s church to intercede and paint an image on our behalf.
My greatest joy is praying with people and seeing how the Holy Spirit moves through His Body, the Church. My second greatest joy is turning that prayer experience into a painting.
I would be honored to do both for you.
Commission Process
1. APPLY
Take 2 minutes to write out your vision for this painting by filling out this form. I’ll get back to you to schedule a free consultation call so we can chat to make sure I’m the right artist for you!
2. BOOK A CALL
I’ll ask you to share your story and vision, and you can ask me any questions about my process. We may also invite the Holy Spirit to give you an image if necessary.
3. GET STARTED
We'll lock in your project with a 50% deposit and collaborate on your vision so your piece of art can be a unique connection between you and God! This will include a design phase (where you’ll give me feedback as I produce sketches, color studies, and more) and a production phase (where I paint the image of your dreams!) that can take anywhere from 1 month to 6 months depending on the complexity of your image.
Commissions from a Photo
Wedding, New House, Miscarriage, Family, Deceased, Anniversary Portraits
5"x7" - $500
8"x10" - $900
11"x14" - $1200
16"x20" - $1800
20"x30" - $2500
Please provide a high quality (not blurry) photo for me to work with. I can make minor adjustments like color, including a Bible verse, or adding in "angel babies" to an existing family photo. If the changes are too extreme (like changing entire poses or lighting scenarios), the price may increase.
This option includes up to 3 figures and a background. Adding more will be an extra +$50/figure (people or pets).
Commissions can be done as a watercolor, drawing or digital painting. Oil paintings will be +$250 on top of the base price.

Basic Prophetic Commissions

During our initial consultation, I'll lead you through prayer prompts asking the Holy Spirit for an image. This is going to be between you and Him but I may ask guiding questions if the image needs more clarity.
From this prayer session, I will create the painting or drawing for you to have a beautiful reminder of the Father’s love for you.
Of course, if you already have an image in mind, simply note that in the application.
This option includes up to 3 figures and a background, any design and development work we discuss, and your choice between pencil or watercolor or digital.
Extra figures are an additional +$100/figure.
